What To Do Next

We understand how overwhelming this moment can feel.
You are not alone. We are here to gently guide you through each step.

Take your time, and move at a pace that feels right for you.

1

Take a Moment

If your pet has just passed, it's okay to pause.

  • Sit with them
  • Hold them
  • Say goodbye in your own way

There is no rush.

2

Prepare a Peaceful Space

When you feel ready, you may wish to:

  • Place your pet on a soft blanket or towel
  • Keep them in a cool, quiet area of your home
  • Gently position them in a natural resting position
If possible, cooling the room or placing a small ice pack wrapped in a towel nearby can help preserve them until arrangements are made.
3

Decide What Feels Right

Every family is different. There is no "right" choice — only what feels right for you.

Some families choose:

  • A simple, respectful aftercare
  • A private aquamation with ashes returned
  • A meaningful celebration of life at home

If you're unsure, we can gently walk you through your options. View our packages →

Reach Out to Us

You only have to make one call. We will:

  • Listen with care
  • Answer your questions
  • Guide you through the next steps
  • Arrange a time to come to you

You do not need to have everything figured out — we are here to help.

We Come to You

At the arranged time, we will come to your home. Your pet will be:

  • Handled with dignity and respect
  • Gently transferred from your home
  • Cared for as a beloved family member

If you've chosen a celebration of life, we will guide you through a peaceful and meaningful farewell.

Aftercare & Return

If you've chosen private aquamation:

  • Your pet will be cared for individually
  • Ashes will be returned to you typically within 7–10 days
  • We will coordinate everything on your behalf

We remain available for any support you may need.

Take Care of Yourself

Grief for a pet is real and deeply personal. In the days ahead:

  • Allow yourself to feel what you feel
  • Talk to someone you trust
  • Honour your pet in your own way

There is no timeline for healing.

We're Here for You

This is one of the hardest moments a pet parent can face. You don't have to go through it alone.

We are here to support you with compassion, respect, and care — every step of the way.
